The webinar on Adaptation Tools: From Analysis to Action related to the FutureMed WG2–WG3 Stakeholders Workshop on Climate Adaptation Tools will be held on Monday 19 January 2026, 10:00–11:30 CET via Zoom.
A growing number of climate adaptation tools like platforms, dashboards, decision-support systems is available. Yet many tools do not match real decision needs, capacities or contexts in the region. The FutureMed WG2 network assessed many of these tools along multiple dimensions.
Our assessment indicates that the priority is not more tools, but better-aligned ones. We need to shift from data-centric to user-centered design, involving users in developing, testing, and governing tools.
In this workshop, we invite you to help us:
▶ Assess whether the tools in the inventory match your real decision needs.
▶ Where do current tools help you most – and where do they clearly fall short.
▶ Which user groups or sectors that you work with are not well served.
▶ What would a “good fit” tool (or tool combination) look like for your context?
▶ How can the Adapt-Tools platform better support your day-to-day practice?
