The Swedish Centre for Impacts of Climate Extremes will host the Climate impacts in a changing world Conference in Uppsala (Sweden), 9-11 March 2026, co-organised by FutureMed COST Action, the Earth System Governance Project, and TRANSCEND. The International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) sponsors the meeting through the International Association of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences (IAMAS).
This event aims to foster an interdisciplinary dialogue on the wide-ranging impacts of climate extremes on both human and natural systems. By bringing together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, the conference seeks to advance integrated approaches for addressing climate impacts and building a just, sustainable future.
