Second Call for the 1st General Assembly and Training School of the FutureMed COST Action CA22162, which will take place in Chania, Crete (Greece), from 29 September to 3 October 2025.
This second call provides full details on registration, participation, and abstract submission. The event is open for the entire community to join us in this exciting Mediterranean-wide event.
About the Event
The FutureMed General Assembly aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on climate extremes, socio-economic impacts, adaptation, participatory governance, institutional capacity, and more. It is an excellent opportunity to strengthen collaboration between climate science, policy, and practice across the Mediterranean region. The Assembly will feature a combination of oral and poster presentations, panel discussions, and round tables, encouraging active engagement and knowledge exchange among participants from diverse backgrounds.
Training School
Running in parallel, the Training School is designed for PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, early-career scientists, and professionals from relevant agencies. The school combines lectures, practical exercises, and joint sessions with the Assembly to provide an enriching and immersive learning experience.
