The 1st FutureMed Workshop and Training School were held in Chania (Crete) from September 29 to October 3, hosted by the Technical University of Crete. Workshop participation was around 80 researchers from 12 different countries, while 45 students attended the Training School. Invited lectures and presentations in the workshop fostered a very interesting and fruitful discussions and knowledge exchange. In the Training School, the students attended to invited speaker lectures and tutorised activities that ended with collaborative works around climate change, impacts and adaptation strategies in the Mediterranean.
